Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the monsterion website ("web app") and the monsterion mobile app for the Solana Seeker / Solana dApp Store ("mobile app", together the "Service") collect, how we use and protect it, and your choices. monsterion is designed to be privacy-preserving and non-custodial — we collect as little as possible to run the game and the on-chain tools.

1. What we do NOT collect

We never collect, request, or store your private keys, seed phrases, or recovery phrases. The Service is non-custodial: signing happens in your own wallet. We do not sell your personal data.

2. Information we collect

• Wallet & on-chain data. When you connect a wallet, we process your public wallet address and publicly-available on-chain activity (balances, transactions, stakes) to display your portfolio and enable features. On-chain data is public by nature.
• Game account & gameplay data. An account identifier, chosen display name, ranked stats, match/queue activity, and hero/cosmetic selections, to run matchmaking, the ladder, and progression.
• Social "Tavern" content. Messages, whispers, and presence you send in social rooms, and chat you send to in-character AI/LLM NPCs. NPC chat is transmitted to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses.
• Device & technical data. IP address, approximate region, browser/OS or device type, and basic analytics/diagnostics (e.g., pages viewed, errors) to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Mobile app (Solana Seeker) data. On mobile we may process device-level identifiers, app version, and crash/diagnostic data as permitted by the platform. We request only the permissions needed to run the app (e.g., network access and wallet interaction via the Seeker's wallet). We do not access your contacts, photos, precise location, or microphone unless a feature you use explicitly requires it and you grant permission.
• Local storage / cookies. We use local storage and essential cookies to remember settings and session state. We do not use them for cross-site advertising.

3. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and secure the game and on-chain tools;
• To display your portfolio, staking, and rewards data;
• To run matchmaking, the ranked ladder, and social features;
• To power in-character NPCs (via a third-party AI provider);
• To detect abuse, cheating, fraud, and security threats;
• To diagnose problems and improve the Service; and
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-party processors

We rely on service providers that process data on our behalf or as independent controllers, including: Solana RPC/indexing providers (e.g., Helius), the wallet you choose, real-time messaging/presence infrastructure (e.g., Pusher), edge/hosting providers (e.g., Cloudflare, Vercel), an AI provider for NPC responses (Anthropic), and analytics/error tooling. On-chain interactions with protocols such as Meteora, Kamino, and Jupiter are governed by those protocols. Each third party handles data under its own policies.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We share information only: (a) with the processors above to run the Service; (b) as required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security; and (c) in connection with a merger or transfer of the project, subject to this Policy. Public blockchain data is, by design, visible to anyone.

6. Data retention

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and retain limited records where required for security or legal reasons. On-chain data persists on the blockchain permanently and is outside our control.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and keeping sensitive keys server-side (never shipped to your device). No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your wallet and keys.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can disconnect your wallet, stop using social features, or request account deletion at any time. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below. Note that on-chain data cannot be deleted from the blockchain.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
